On the last weekend in October we headed off to investigate the fishing
& camping at Singleton's Lake St
Clair. Our aim was to improve our
freshwater fishing skills and check out the lake for
future club events. The lake was full with green grass
right to the waters edge and firm banks allowing us to
launch the boats close to the campsite. However there is
a boat ramp if required. The campsites offer tree shaded
areas or bur free grassy plains, but finding a level
site can be a challenge. The amenities were clean
however the number of toilets leds to a early morning que
& to have a shower you had stand against the wall as the
pressure was poor. However we all caught fish 61 in fact
but most were released due to bag limits on bass.
